Abstrak Mimusops elengi L. is a prospective tree species for plantris in urban forest development programs, because it has multi-functions. The use of azolla plants as compost to increase soil fertility, improve soil structure, increase soil permeability and reduce dependence on the use of inorganic fertilizers which have negative ettection. This research was conducted for three months, from January to March 2020. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial pattern consisting of two factors. The first factor is the compost fermentation period consisting of F1 = 1 week compost fermentation, F2 = 2 weeks compost fermentation. The second factor is the composition of the compost consisting of M1 = Soil + Azolla Compost (1: 1), M2 = Soil + Azolla Compost (2: 1) M3 = Soil + Azolla Compost (3: 1). Each combination was repeated 10 times that ore a total of 60 experimental sample units (plants). Data analysis used the F 5% test then continued with the LSD 5% test if the growth had a significant effect. The results showed that the interaction between fermentation time treatment and Azolla composition had no significant effect on all observed parameters, only the Azolla compost composition factor had a significant effect on diameter increase.
