Abstrak
Water is very influential for the life of living things, is the main requirement in daily life, especially rainwater which plays an important role for the growth of vegetation in the forest, so it is necessary to study the thickness of rain and flowing streams. This study aims to determine the volume of the throughfall, as well as to determine the relationship between the thickness of rain and the throughfall of several tree species in the production forest area with an area of about 634 hectares. The results showed that for approximately three months the regression coefficient (R2) of the three tree species, namely white measles (Michelia champaca L.) was 0.8617. and for the value (r) 0.9. The regression coefficient (R2) of the taiti tree (Dysoxylum rufum.) is 0.7516 the value (r) is 0.9. while the regression coefficient (R2) for the cume tree (Palaquium quercifolium.) is 0.8608 and the value (r) is 0.9. So that the overall regression coefficient (R2), namely the sum of the volume of rainwater collected from the three tree species is 0.9422. This shows that 94.22% of the rainfall is translucent, while the remaining 5.78% is influenced by other factors. The relationship between rain thickness and flow (r) has a very strong relationship, namely 1.0.
