Abstrak Turi (Sesbania grandiflora L. Pers) is a plant from the Leguminosae group and is often used in reclamation of degraded land, Turi is commonly used as green manure and has a mutualistic symbiosis with Rhizobium bacteria in root nodules. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Rhizobium isolates on the growth of seedling turi (Sesbania grandiflora L. Pers). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method, with the treatment of Rhizobium bacterial isolates consisting of five treatment levels, namely R0 = Soil without Rhizobium (control), R1 = Soil + Rhizobium sp1, R2 = Soil + Rhizobium sp2, R3= Soil + Rhizobium sp3, R4 = Soil + a mix of Rhizobium sp1, sp2, and sp3. Each of the five treatment levels was repeated ten times, so that the total number of seedling units required was 5 x 10 = 50 (fifty) seedling units. Parameters observed were height (cm), diameter (mm), number of petioles, number of leaflets, number of root nodules, and the value of the robustness of turi seedlings. The results of this study showed that Rhizobium isolates had a significant effect on all observation parameters. Treatment R1 = Soil + Rhizobium 10 g gave the best growth effect compared to other treatments, R3 = Soil + Rhizobium 10 g, R2 = Soil + Rhizobium 10 g, R4 = Soil + Rhizobium 10 g and R0 (without Rhizobium/control) .
