Abstrak
One of the beaches in Pasangkayu Regency, namely Tanjung Babia Beach, this tourist attraction will become one of the icons of Pasangkayu Regency. Currently development was being carried out to rehabilitate it. On Tanjung Babia Beach, tourists can enjoy views of a beautiful expanse of island surrounded by coconut trees. On this beach there are also sports facilities and culinary centers of local communities. This study aims to determine the natural tourism potential of Tanjung Babia beach, Pasangkayu Village, Pasangkayu District, Pasangkayu Regency. This research was conducted in February - April 2019. in Pasangkayu Village, Pasangkayu District, Pasangkayu Regency. The choice of location of this research was taken purposely (Purposive) because considering that the location has ecotourism potential that can be developed. The research method used is the method of observation, interviews and documentation using ADO - ODTWA data analysis (Analysis of Operational Areas and Nature Tourism Attraction Objects). The results of this study indicated that the potential of natural tourism in Tanjung Babia Beach, Pasangkayu Village, Pasangkayu District, Pasangkayu Regency, is a unique natural resource in the form of beach, flora fauna, beach sand, waves, cleanliness of the site is very well maintained, there are no disturbing industries, no streaks -corruption, no wild fish bombing, no theft, no sand mining, excellent visitors' comfort and safety with a feasibility index of 65.25% including feasible categories, accessibility criteria with a 100?asibility index including feasible categories, criteria for means and infrastructure with a 100?asibility index and included in the feasible category. The criteria for the natural tourism potential of Tanjung Babia beach, Pasangkayu Village, Pasangkayu District, Pasangkayu Regency, with a feasibility level index of 75.64%, including a feasible category to be developed as tourism objects.
