Abstrak Abstract Soil is a natural resource that supports the life of living things on earth, and a foothold of living things on it, including humans. Soil properties affect plant growth and development, both physical, biological, and chemical properties of the soil. This study aims to determine the chemical properties of the soil which include pH, CEC, available P, total N and C-organic soil, on agroforestry and monoculture land in the Pangi Binangga Nature Reserve, Jononunu Village, Parigi Moutong, Central Sulawesi. This research was carried out from August 2019 to November 2019. This research consisted of field surveys, plot making, sampling and also interviews with local village officials. Soil sampling was carried out in two fields, namely agroforestry land and cocoa monoculture land. Sampling of valleys, ridges and peaks. Each land has 5 points of soil sampling, with 50 m, and each point is taken as much as ± 1/2 kg of soil samples. In Jononunu Village, Parigi Tengah District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi. Chemical properties of soil samples were analyzed at the Laboratory of Soil Science Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu. The results showed that the agroforestry and cocoa monoculture areas had the following chemical properties: pH (H2O) which tends to be alkaline 7.86, C-Organic 4.13%, CEC 20.59 cmol (+) kg-1, N-Total 0.18%, P-Available 25.56 ppm, and K-Available 27.68 mg/100g, and the cocoa monoculture area has the following characteristics: pH (H2O) 6.79, C-Organic 1.19%, CEC 13.44 cmol (+) kg-1, N-Total 0.08%, P-Available 11.85ppm, K-Total 17.57 mg/100g. |
