| Abstrak Utilization of forest products to meet the needs of daily life for the community around the Forest Park Area (TAHURA) Ngata Baru Village has been done long ago. This can be seen from the way of life of rural communities who use the forest as a source of their livelihood by collecting forest products for their daily needs. This study aims to determine the utilization of forest resources by the community in Ngatabaru Village, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. This research was carried out for two months, from August to September 2019, located in the forest around the Taman Hutan Raya (TAHURA) area of Ngata Baru Village, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. The research method was carried out using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview, and literature study techniques. Data analysis was carried out by processing data on forest use obtained in tabulated form. The data is analyzed in detail and analyzed descriptively-qualitatively to get a picture of the condition of forest use in relation to the characteristics of the Ngatabaru village community. The results of this study concluded that the forest resources utilized by the community in Ngatabaru Village were in the form of the utilization of timber forest products and non-timber forest products. |
