| Abstrak Land cover is the prune of physical material from the Earth's surface. The activity is an activity identifying the prototife (cluster) of a number of pixels representing each of the desired classes or categories by determining the position of the examples in the field with the help of a land cover map as a reference to each of its classes. results from the analysis of changes in cover of protected forest land areas in Kinavaro Subdistrict of Sigi County from 2013-2018 underwent a change in extent. The changes that occur exist in all types of land cover, be it a class of primary dryland forest, skunder dry land, farmland and open land. In primary dry forest land classes there was a reduction in extent from the initial extent in 2013 of 798.20 ha changed its extent in 2018 to 684.67 ha or reduced its area by 113,53 ha. The class of dry skunder forest lands underwent a reduction in extent from early 2013 to 2018 of 443.36 ha karna in 2013 the area of secondary land forests was 1,351,22 ha and in 2018 to 907.86 ha. While the farmland class also underwent an additional extent from the original 338.79 ha in 2013 to 577.83 ha in 2018, with an additional extent of 239.04 ha, as well as the Open Land class which had an initial extent of 722,52 ha in 2013 increasing in extent by 2018 to 1.040.37 ha or increasing in extent by 317.85 ha |
