Abstrak One the development of satellite image technology there are many image technology used to map vast and faste areas. LDCM landsat satellite imagery (landsat 8) is among them designed by carrying an OLI imager (operational land imager) sensor capable of identifying and distinguishing characteristics as well as conditions at land closures as well as analyzing abject changes an the earth’s surface with detailed levels. The purpose of the study was to compare the composite capabilities of landsat image band 8 to identify land cover types and know the types of land cover located in the forest area of the KPHP Dolago Tanggunung balinggi subdistrict implemented for 3 (three) months, from September to November 2019 with the method of confusion matrix. As for the result of the study obtained on composites of band 654 and 752 there are 5 types of land cover classification and have almost the same spectral color dominated with green for its vegetation cover. While in composites 643 and 532 there are 4 types of land cover classification as well as having a spectral color predominantly with red on its vegetation cover. Then on composite band 654 an excellent composite used to identify land use as well as land cover as it yields a percentage of the accuracy value 85%, composite 752 has a percentage value of 81.67%, composite 643 has a percentage value of 63.63%, whereas composite 532 has a percentage value of 70.45 % will but still provide the criteria either. |
