The study is carried out in March-April 2020. The important value index (INP) obtained from vegetation analysis was used as an indicator to describe the composition of the mangrove forest. Mangrove vegetation analysis carried out by sampling method, using belt transect with plot sampling at 2x2 meters, 5x5 meters and 10x10 meters. This study showed that there were 4 species of mangroves in Muara Bandeng Village, namely Rhyzophora apiculata, Sonneratia alba, Bruguiera gymnnorhiza and Lumnitzera littorea. The highest percentage of species composition was Rhyzophora apiculata at 49,51%, while the lowest was Lumnitzera littorea at 10,29%. Species with the highest INP values is Rhyzophora apiculata at all rates of growth, the tree with an INP values of145.72%, stake 117.48% and 69.04% seedlings. The mangrove forest area in the Muara Bandeng village showes that the Rhyzophora apiculata most dominant and plays an important role in controlling other species, so that Rhyzophora apiculata is able to control the community.
