| Abstrak The settlement pattern of the Lauje people in the mountainous area is between five hundred meters to one kilometer. In mountainous areas they live in houses in the middle of their respective fields which are up to one kilometer away from each other. It can be said that the house is not a permanent house, because if the cultivated land is not fertile or even the fields are sold, they will move and build a new house again. The livelihoods of the Lauje people who live in the mountains of Bambasiang Village are cultivating fields that are still moving, with the main crops being shallots, corn, and vegetables, recently they have also planted cloves. while waiting for the results of their crops, the Lauje people who live in the mountains of the village of Bambasiang manage non-timber forest products such as looking for rattan, resin, candlenut, and making handicrafts.The purpose of this study was to examine the utilization and conservation efforts by the Lauje Tribe of Bambasiang Village. The purpose of this research is as information for related parties and the general public.The results of the study found several types of forest resources (SDH), both timber forest products used, including: Nantu wood (Palaqium Obovatum Engl), Heritiera Palapi Wood (Taririetia) spp, Wuru wood (Elmerrilia Tsiampacca) and non-timber products such as: Rattan (Calamus Rotang), Candlenut (Aleurites moluccanus), Bamboo (Bambusa sp) Keyword: utilization, forest conservation efforts, lauje tribe. |
