Abstrak Decreasing values of soil and water conservation which have resulted in a decrease in the quality and carrying capacity of natural resources. This can be seen from the existence of climate change, flooding, decreased forest land carrying capacity and reduced vegetation diversity. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure and diversity of vegetation types in the Lebanu Sub watershed, Marwola District, Sigi Regency. This study used a systematic compartmental path method to see the vertical vegetation structure and the diversity of vegetation types on the riverbanks in the Lebanu Sub-watershed, Maravola District, Sigi Regency. The results showed that there were four vegetation stratifications in the Lebanu sub-watershed, namely: (1) Stratum A was dominated by Poikilosspermum suaveolens (Blume) Merr, (2) Stratum B was dominated by Ficus sp and Aglaia sp. (3) Stratum C was dominated by Tlex sp. , (4) Stratum D is dominated by Aglaia Argenta Blume and Anamirta sp. The composition of plant species at the tree level is dominated by the banyan species (Ficus sp. 3) with an INP value of 91.58%, at the pole level it is dominated by Palem (Caryota mitis Lour) with an INP value of 23.35%, at the sapling level dominated by Bayur (Aglaia argenta Blume) with an INP value of 64.38% and at the seedling level, the dominant species were Bayur (Aglaia argenta Blume.) and Krinyu (Chromolaena odorata LRMKing & H. Ro) with an INP value of 14.74% The level of species diversity (H ) for each level is high, namely at the pole level of 3.14 and seedlings of 3.06, while those classified as moderate are at the tree level of 1.71 and saplings of 1.38. |
