| Abstrak Sugar palm is a type of plant that has the potential to be cultivated. Palm is also a versatile plant that has long been known to produce many benefits. Almost all the physical and production parts of this plant can be utilized and have economic value (Ferita et al., 2015). This study aims to determine the use of sugar palm by the community around Kasimbar Barat Village, Kasimbar District, Parigi Moutong Regency. This research was carried out for 2 months from October to November 2020.The types of data collected consisted of primary data and secondary data, where primary data collection was carried out by means of field observations by means of observations and interviews with people who use sugar palm plants. While secondary data is data that is supporting, this data is taken through literature studies and offices/agencies that review several reports, including data on the general condition of West Kasimbar Village. The data includes location biophysical data, and data on socioeconomic conditions. From the results of the research, there are 2 utilization results from the palm part, namely the juice from the palm which will be used as palm sugar. |
