| Abstrak SUMMARY BUYUNG P – L 131 13 196, Diversity of Bird Species in the Forest Park Area (Tahura) Pombewe Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency,supervised by I Nengah Korja. Indonesia is home to 17% of bird species on earth. Birds are wild animals that are found in various types of habitats, ranging from beaches, swamps, mountains, and lowlands. The diversity and abundance of bird species found in an area can indicate how things are in that area. As one component in the ecosystem, the presence of birds can be an indicator of whether the environment supports the life of an organism or not because it has a reciprocal and interdependent relationship with its environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the species, composition, evenness, dominance and diversity of bird species in the Grand Forest Park (TAHURA) area of Pombewe Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. This research is expected to be information material for relevant agencies in efforts to manage wildlife, especially birds, which are in the Grand Forest Park (TAHURA) area of Pombewe Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. This research was conducted in November to December 2019in the Forest Park Area (TAHURA) Pombewe Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency using the Point of Abudance Index (IPA-Count) method. Based on the results of research in the Grand Forest Park (TAHURA) area, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, there are 23 species of birds representing 19 families, for dominant bird species as many as 7 species, sub dominant as many as 10 species and non-dominant species as many as 6 species..The evenness index of bird species is 0.918. The species diversity index (H') is H'= The 2,879 numbers belong to the medium category. |
