| Abstrak Abstract Non-timber forest products have long been included in the components of the livelihood strategies of communities around the forest. Currently, efforts to promote the use of environmentally friendly forests have succeeded in increasing attention to the marketing and collection of non-timber forest products as an effort to develop the concept of sustainability, and observations can be made as educational facilities such as research and research. In Tombiano Village, West Tojo Subdistrict, Tojo Una-Una District there are still several types of non-timber forest products that have the potential to be developed and managed well, for this reason research is needed on the utilization of non-wood forest products that are utilized by the community and are found in Tombiano Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of non-timber forest products by people in the village of Tombiano. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a qualitative approach, data collection obtained from direct observations and interviews covering any non-timber forest products used, as well as the average collection / non-wood forest products by the community in the village of Tombiano. The results showed that open wood forest products that were utilized by the community and found in the research location were Ferns, Bamboo, Enau / Aren, Sago, the community took and used non-wood forest products for traditional processing such as making handicrafts, and made into food, there are still many people who use non-timber forest products do not yet have the awareness to take action to conserve and cultivate the types of non-wood forest products in their gardens or land.
