Abstrak Abstrak The Indonesian people have long recognized and used medicinal plants as an effort to overcome health problems. In Tojo Village, the traditional use of medicinal plants has not been researched and studied in depth or maximally so that there is no documentation related to the use of these medicinal plants. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the types of medicinal plants and their use by the people of Tojo Village, Tojo District, Tojo Una-Una Regency. This research was conducted from October to November 2019 at Tojo Village. This study used direct interviews with people who used medicinal plants. The number of respondents interviewed was 43 people, namely 1 village healer and 42 community members. Data were collected using two methods, namely primary data and secondary data. Then the data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method. There are 36 medicinal plants, consisting of 23 families in the field. The families most widely used as medicinal plants are the Euphobiaceae family with 5 types, the Lamiaceae family with 4 types and the Zingiberaceae family with 4 types. The portion of medicinal plants used consisted of 8.33% tubers, 19.44% roots, 8.33% stems, 66.67% leaves, 16.67% shoots, 8.33% flowers and 2.78% fruit. As for how to use it, there are boiled, mashed, grated, squeezed, baked and pasted. Medicinal plants that are often found in Tojo village include betel (Piper betle L.), Jatropha curcas (Jatropha curcas L.), Kuning Fau (Zingirber montanum (J. Konig) Link ex A. Dietr.)
