Abstrak
This research was based on student sentered paradigm. Bicause of lerning model which guided the students aktively seek and find the learning concept at SMA Negeri 1 Sigi was not implemented yet, therefore this research was conducted. The objective of the research is to analyze the effect of learning cycle 5E model toward process skill and the effect of learning cycle 5E model toward critical thinking ability of class X at SMA negeri 1 Sigi. The research method applied was quasy experiment by using nonequivalent pretest posttest group design. The sample of the research were 56 students, divided into two classes. The data collection used were critical thinking skill test and process skill observation sheet which analyzed by using t-test. Besed on the result of the research can be concluded that there is effect of lerning cycle 5e model toward process skill and learning cycle 5E model toward critical thinking skill of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Sigi.
