Abstrak ABSTRACT High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) is a type of cholesterol that is good because it carries excess cholesterol from blood vessels back to the liver to be removed so as to prevent thickening of the walls of blood vessels. This study aims to determine the description of HDL levels in white rats given pepolo bark extract (Bischofia javanica Blume). This study used 25 test animal samples divided into 5 groups: negative control PEG 400 1.5%, positive control 0.36 mg / 200 g BW and the test group dose 20 mg / 200 g BW, dose 30 mg / 200 g BW, dose of 40 mg / 200 g BW. The treatment was carried out for 51 days and 3 times the measurement of HDL levels, 7 days of acclimatization, 30 days induced using high-fat feed (PTL), Propylthiouracil (PTU) and 2.5 ml of pork oil orally, and 14 days of hyperlipidemia therapy, measurement of HDL levels using a photometer. Based on the results of the percentage description of HDL levels 20 mg / 200 g BW increased by 23%, the dose of 30 mg / 200 g BW decreased by 28%, and the dose of 40 mg / 200 g BW decreased by 40%.
