| Abstrak ABSTRACT Stunting is the impaired growth in children who are under five years old or commonly referred to short children. Indonesia is one of the countries with a high prevalence of stunting at 30,6?sed on the nutritional status monitoring data conducted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2017. The research aims to compare the Logistic Regression method and Support Vector Machine to predict stunting in Tawaeli District, Palu City. The Logistic Regression produces an accuracy value of 0,951, a sensitivity of 0,974 and a specitivity of 0,461 while the Support Vector Machine produces an accuracy value of 0,937, a sensitivity of 0,967 and a specitivity of 0,307. Based on the comparison of the performance of these two methods, the method that produces a proper classification of the prediction results is the Logistic Regression method. As a result, the Logistic Regression method can be used to predict stunting in Tawaeli District, Palu City. Keywords : Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, Stunting. |
