| Abstrak ELSA tofu factory is a company engaged in production in the manufacture of tofu from soybeans. The control of raw material inventory costs at the ELSA tofu factory is not optimal, because the factory has so many raw materials for soybeans that the factory has to incur quite a large amount of money. The results of this study indicate that the ELSA tofu factory can save costs efficiently by using the EOQ method. The total inventory cost according to EOQ is IDR 31,902,081.5 with an ordering cost of IDR 13,616,171.7 and a storage cost of IDR 18,285,909.8 for the number of orders needed by the factory of 10,724.38 Kg with an order frequency of 9 times a year . The ELSA tofu factory also needs 1,603.04 kg of safety stock and 1,809.76 kg of reorder points. Key Word : inventory costs, Safety Stock, EOQ, POQ, ROP |
