Abstrak ABSTRACT Analysis of isodosis contours in radiology installation at RSUD Madani Palu has been conducted. This study aims to find out the safest distance for radiology officers at RSUD Madani Palu to be in the room of X-ray machine. Doses were measured using surveymeter when the water phantom was exposed before and during exsposure by X-ray machine. The measurements were performed at 65 points in the room of X-ray machine i.e each, 32 radial points (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) at height h1 (1.113 m) and h2 (1.613 m), and 1 point at the center of the secondary radiation source. The results of data processing obtained that the highest radiation exposure dose was at G line (front of X-ray machine) of 19.15 mSv/hour for h1, and 11.6 mSv/hour for h2, while the isodosis contours has different number of trajectories and colors in each radiation exposure dose value. The results of this study indicate that the dose of X-ray radiation exposure at RSUD Madani Palu is still below the NBD determined by BAPETEN (20 mSv/year), while the isodosis contours shows the value of radiation exposure dose value of 0 at distance of more than 3 m from X-ray machine, so that radiology officers are still safe to carry out radiodiagnostic activities.
