| Abstrak Food is the most important basic human need and must always be available in sufficient quantities at a price that is affordable by people's purchasing power, but fluctuations in prices make these needs difficult to fulfill. In 2020 several 2017 is 86.54 percent, the obtained accuracy of the prediction in 2018 is 89.08 percent, the obtained accuracy of the prediction in 2019 is 82.98 percent, the obtained accuracy of the prediction in 2020 is 84.83 percent, and the obtained commodities in Central Sulawesi experienced volatile prices. It is the government's responsibility to maintain food price stability so that there is no food crisis. By providing future price predictions, it can help Palu City prepare food strategies today to anticipate price fluctuations in the future. For data samples, researchers took historical data on food prices in Palu City in 2016-2017. Since the historical pattern of food prices in Palu City is stationary, so single exponential smoothing method is used. The results show that the obtained accuracy of the prediction in accuracy of the prediction in 2021 is 85.34 percent. |
