ABSTRACT According to the UPT, the forest itself is a biological community dominated by hard trees. Central Sulawesi Forest Processing Unit. Meanwhile, according to Law no. 5 of 1967, forest is defined as a tree-growing field as a whole which is an alliance of non-living natural life and its natural environment, but at present many in Central Sulawesi have not been planted with trees or have spread according to the criteria in areas in Central Sulawesi. From that, the first problem arises, namely the seeds that have been given in large quantities in several regions do not grow well and the difficulty in determining the seeds at the UPT. Forest Processing Unit because the system used is still manual and takes up to 4 days to determine which areas are suitable for seed distribution. To solve this problem, an application that can be accessed and simplifies the UPT is needed. The Forest Management Unit determines an area to be given seeds using a Web-based Geographical Information System (GIS) in order to facilitate mapping of locations that are suitable for giving seeds and can be user friendly to application users. The results of the research using the Profile Matching method are a method that can be applied in ranking locations that will spread seeds, because the Profile Matching method can produce survey results in use based on the results of interviews with users at UPT. The Forest Processing Unit is very good, and the Profile Matching method in inputting 150 data only takes an average of 6,248 seconds and memory usage is only 504,789 kb for 150 data using an AMD A9 RADEON processor and 4GB RAM.
