Abstrak The modification of the fan drive motor as a 1-phase generator of power plants was motivated by the curiosity of researchers in revealing an experiment that kinetic energy produced by household appliances can produce new additional electrical energy, and the cost in manufacturing is not too expensive. To realize a fan drive motor, it is used as a generating generator, by knowing the voltage produced, and small-scale plants. The experimental method makes planning and design from preparing tools and materials up to the analysis of these experiments. The modification of the 1-phase generator was carried out on the fan drive rotor, adding 12 neodymium permanent magnets (NdFeB) with a total of 4 poles and using a built-in stator. On a 0.15 mm enamel wire stator and a total fan drive motor winding of 6,600 windings. The results showed that a 1-phase ac generator with cylindrical pole permanent magnets was able to produce a voltage of 64 volts, while the generator frequency was 50 Hz or in accordance with the maximum frequency limit permitted by the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources) no. 04 of 2009, which is 50 Hz 1 phase AC generator capable of carrying an electrical load of 5 watts.
