Abstrak
This research discusses about simulation of Flyback Boost Converter by utilizing the micro-scale generator Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) to convert the difference in hot and cold temperatures into electrical energy. The output of the TEG is usually low and unstable, so a dc-dc converter is needed and the right method to increase the output voltage and the result remains constant. In this study, using simulation of Flyback Boost Converter to increase the output voltage of TEG and comparison of PI, PD, PID and Fuzzy-PID based controls in order to determine the control for the best performance in order to produce a constant and stable output voltage. The results showed that the Flyback Boost Converter can increase the output voltage of the TEG in both open loop and closed loop conditions. The input voltage used is 6 volts can be increased to 12 volts with fairly stable results by testing using various inputs. The comparison of these four controls is examined from the overshoot and the resulting reference voltage which shows that Fuzzy-PID control has better control than the other three controls.
