Abstrak ABSTRACT In this research, namely to design a PV output monitoring tool that is deployed at several locations in the Palu City area and can be accessed anywhere using IoT. This study aims to: (1) design a multi-channel data logger; and (2) determine the location of the PV location that can provide maximum output according to the temperature of the urban area. This research method uses experimental methods, while the data analysis techniques used are quantitative and graphic analysis. This study was conducted by placing PV at several location points that were monitored for 3 consecutive days. From this study it can be concluded that: (1) the design of an IoT-based multichannel PV monitoring tool is made to monitor current, voltage, and temperature via the web (https://iot-monitoringuntad.blogspot.com/) which can be accessed via mobile phone / computer with PV placement in 3 locations, namely east Palu, south Palu and west Palu; (2) Based on the monitoring results, it can be seen that the largest power output results in the three regions are in the West Palu region with a power output of 0.0419 watts at 12:30 on the first day, on the second day of 0.0519 watts at 12:30 and 0.0406 watts at 10:15 on the third day; (3) PV placement is placed facing north-south to get maximum results.
