Abstrak
There are many motor rotation speed control systes in the research, such us as artificial neural network. The purpose of the result is to create a control system so that this speed of the induction motor can be adjusted as needed and to compare the performance of an induction motor without control and with control. In this research, a backpropagation neural network method is proposed to control this speed of a three-phase induction motor and use a rotary encoder sensor to monitor the motor speed by changing the motor speed at 500, 1000, 1200, 1500, and 1740 RPM. Based on the test result obtained eror values ( errors ) that are different at each speed. At speeds of 500,1000, and 150p RPM the highest error ( error ) is 4%, at 1200 RPM the highest error ( error ) is 5% and at 1740 RPM there is no error. In its development, this motor speed controller can be developed by using load variations as well as applying a sign when the motor speed passes the reference limit too far or too long within a certain time limit.
