Abstrak In an electric power protection system, all components must be secured while suppressing the work selectivity of the relay / safety equipment. The electric power system at PT PLN (Persero) at the Talise 150 kV substation must be safely conditioned. Simulation on ETAP software is done by giving short circuit interference on the outgoing side of the Flaminggo Feeder which causes the system condition to be abnormal. From this research, it is found that the 1 phase short circuit fault current to ground at a distance of 100% of the feeder length is 165.04 A. GFR). Setting the right relay can improve the performance of the electricity network and the quality of good system reliability. According to the simulation and calculation results, the data setting on the OCR outgoing Iset value = 6.49 A and TMS = 0.2 S. while the outgoing GFR value Iset = 2.165 A and TMS = 0.26. Then the incoming OCR value of Iset = 5.31 A and TMS = 0.25 while the incoming GFR value of Iset = 0.46 A and TMS = 0.43 S. very small, this needs special attention because it is better if the time setting on the incoming side relay is larger so that the relay on the outgoing side first protects the surrounding disturbances.
