Renaldy Rian Laeka, Program Studi S1 Teknik Mesin, “Pengaruh Geometri Pahat Terhadap Tingkat Keausan Mata Gurdi Pada Proses Pengeboran”. Renaldy Rian Laeka, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Study Program, “The Effect of Tool Geometry on the Wear Level of Drill Bits in the Drilling Process”. (Supervised by Awal Syahrani Sirajuddin and Muhammad Iqbal) This study aims to determine the effect of drill bit diamet er on the level of wear after being used in five drilling processes. The workpiece material uses steel plate, the spindle speed is 970 rpm, and the feed rate is 0.18 mm/rev. The variations in drill bit diameter used are 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm, with other cu tting parameters kept constant, such as the workpiece material, spindle speed, and feed rate. Drill bit wear was analyzed through two approaches, namely the decrease in drill bit mass and the change in drill bit volume. This research was conducted at the Mechanical Technology Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tadulako University. This research was conducted in January- April 2025. The results showed that the drill bit with a diameter of 6 mm experienced the highest wear, indicated by a decrease in mass of 0.010 grams and a decrease in volume of 0.001227 cm³ . The 8 mm diameter drill bit showed moderate wear with a decrease in weight of 0.009 grams and a decrease in volume of 0.00110429 cm³ . while the 10 mm dr ill bit experienced the smallest wear, with a weight loss of only 0.004 grams and a volume change of 0.004908 cm³ . This indicates that the larger the diameter of the drill bit, the smaller the level of wear that occurs, both physically (mass) and geometric ally (volume). Keywords: Drill bit wear, material, drill bit diameter, volume, drill bit mass, drilling.
