Abstrak Mohammad Ananda Ghiffary Latasad. Title of Research: "Community Perception of the Post-Revitalization of Green Open Spaces (RTH) in Palu National Park." Supervised by Rusli and Fuad Zubaidi. This study aims to assess the community's perception of the revitalization of Green Open Spaces (RTH) in Palu National Park, focusing on aspects such as shading elements, aesthetics, social interaction space, creativity space, and accessibility of the park. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with surveys. The survey was conducted with questionnaires distributed to the community around Palu National Park to measure their perceptions of several elements of the revitalization success, such as shading elements (the peace and comfort provided by trees and plants), aesthetics of the park (the beauty of the design and park elements), social interaction spaces (the ease of interaction between residents), creativity spaces (opportunities for creative or educational activities), and accessibility (the ease of accessing the park for various groups). The results of the study show that the revitalization of Palu National Park has had a significant impact on several important aspects. The increase in the number of trees and vegetation for shading has made the park cooler and more comfortable, while the park's more organized and attractive aesthetic design has enhanced its visual appeal. Additionally, the park now provides spaces for creative activities, such as art and education, which has received a positive response from the community. The improved facilities also foster more dynamic social interaction spaces, with open areas that are comfortable for gatherings. Enhanced accessibility, through the improvement of pathways and facilities that are disability-friendly, has made it easier for visitors from various backgrounds to enjoy the park. The conclusion of this study is that the revitalization of Palu National Park has positively impacted the quality of the green open space, with a positive response from the community, particularly in terms of improved comfort and functionality of public spaces. The improvements in social interaction facilities and accessibility are highly appreciated, making the park more inclusive for various groups, including people with disabilities and the elderly. The aesthetics of the park are also appreciated, although the community places more importance on the social functions and physical comfort of the park. However, there is still a need to develop shading facilities and creativity spaces to meet visitors' expectations. Overall, the revitalization has been effective, but some aspects still require further attention to fully meet the needs of the community. |
