| Abstrak Settlements are part of a residential environment consisting of more than one unit of housing that has infrastructure, facilities, public utilities, and has supporting other function activities in urban areas or rural areas. The purpose of this research is to identify the level of environmental feasibility of settlements and The direction of government policy for handling disaster settlements in Tompe Village. The research method used is quantitative deskriptive method. The research location in Tompe Village, Sirenja sub-district has an area of 2.26 km2 with 3 hamlets, namely Hamlet 01, Hamlet 02 and Hamlet 03. Sample selection using Purposive Sampling of 47 families with 9 variable assessments. Data is processed using analysis of the physical condition of the residential environment, weighting analysis and descriptive analysis. This research resulted in: 1). The settlement environment in Tompe Village there are 3 levels of feasibility, namely in hamlet 01 is quite feasible, Hamlet 02 Worthy and in hamlet 03 is not feasible and the direction of environmental handling policy of settlements in the relocation land of Tompe Village.
