| Abstrak ABSTRACT Roni Dullah (F 221 19 133) Shopping Center in the Area of Sis Al-Jufri Religious Tourism in Palu (under the supervision of Dr. Ir.Fuad Zubaidi, ST., M.Sc). The Shopping Center Complex in the Religious Tourism Area (Grand Palu Plaza) is one of the trade facilities that has been degraded in quality along with the emergence of new trading facilities. In fact, in the RTRW for Palu in 2010 - 2030, this area is included in the main sub-center for activities in Palu. The purpose of this research is to arrange the spatial and mass structure of buildings that meet the standards of shopping centers and public open spaces and apply them to designs that are in accordance with the contextual environment around them. Through this design, it is hoped that it can make Palu Plaza attractive, comfortable, and functional for its users. Data were collected through the Post-Occupancy Evaluation method. This research method identifies behavioral aspects that indicate degradation of the Grand Palu Plaza shopping complex. The data obtained were analyzed with an approach in architectural planning which includes elements of function, boundaries, and spatial planning. Based on the results of this process, the design of the Shopping Center complex in the Sis-Al Jufri Religious Tourism Area of Palu will provide comfort in accordance with architectural design as a shopping complex as well as a public open space.
