| Abstrak Andi Nurfadila (F 221 16 001) “ Re Design Islamic Center Universitas Tadulako” (Supervised by Sutrati Melissa Malik S.T., M.T) The activity of spreading Islam has occurred and is growing at this time. This is proven by the wide spread of communities, organizations to the institutional level. Not only in the form of external communities, educational institutions in the city of Palu also have containers that accommodate the spread of Islam in the city of Palu, starting from Rohis in high school and campus da'wah institutions at universities. Tadulako University or abbreviated as UNTAD is a higher education institution in the national education environment. As the largest academic area in the city of Palu, of course, it has a direct consequence of the emergence of a need that aims to accommodate student activities at the university. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the concept of designing and designing the Islamic center building of Tadulako University. The purpose of this study was to produce the design concept and design of the Islamic center building at Tadulako University. This type of research uses descriptive research methods. Descriptive research method that is processed with architectural design methods, namely the process in designing buildings, including data collection, analysis, concept synthesis and design. In the design of data architecture and facts are things that become the basis or source of ideas in the design. The results of the design concept and design of the Islamic center of Tadulako University function as a da'wah center for the campus community and the general public who are around. The application of elements and principles of Islamic architecture is the main idea in the design of the facade of the building. The elements of Islamic architecture that are applied are rahmatan lil alamin (grace for all nature), thrifty and useful and the enforcement of the hijab.
