| Abstrak ABSTRACT Moh Fadel Hidaya Sane (stb. F 221 14 104) Design of College of Mining Science in Morowali Regency (supervised by Dr. Ir Fuad Zubaid ST, MSc) Indonesia, which is a country rich in mineral natural resources, including the morowali district, resulting in many exploitation and development activities in the mining industry, where these activities have triggered opportunities that lead to high demand for skilled professional labor in the mining sector, but in fact it can not be fulfilled properly because there are rarely any prospective workers who come have expertise or are graduates of mining science education. this is due to the unavailability of tertiary institutions in the mining sector in Morowali district, or Central Sulawesi itself. Data is analyzed and collected by conducting field surveys, observations, interviews and literature. The results of this study recommend that in order to meet the need for education in the field of mining there needs to be a high school of mining science in Morowali district, in order to prepare reliable experts in the mining sector and be able to meet the needs of the workforce in all mining industries in morowali.
