Abstrak ABSTRACT EDUCATIONAL TOUR OF DECORATIVE GARDEN IN CITY FOREST OF PALU I Nengah Diana Putra¹ (F22113047) Supervised by Rusli² Ornamental plants are plants that are familiar in our daily lives. Ornamental plants have their own charm, which can be seen from the shapes, colors, motifs and even the benefits of ornamental plants. An Educational Tourism for Ornamental Plants is intended to accommodate the public's curiosity about a good and correct of ornamental plant cultivation techniques. The purpose of this study is to produce a concept and design of educational tourism for ornamental plants that can play a role in the development of ornamental plants in the Palu city and assist in greening the city. Methods used in data collection include observation, literature and interviews. The result of this study is the design of the Ornamental Plant Education Tourism in Palu City Forest which has facilities that can support the function of educational tourism as a forum to accommodate people's curiosity about a good and correct of ornamental plant cultivation techniques. In addition to the community, getting knowledge about ornamental plants, people can also make this place as a recreational facility by seeing the beauty of ornamental plants. There are available facilities such as Green House, Planting Media Room, Laboratory, Information and Security Room, Public Toilets, Equipment Warehouse, Fertilizer and Pesticide Warehouse, Florist, Café, Exhibition Room, Competition Room (Contest), Goods Storage Room, Food Court, Management Office, Mosque ,and Security post.
