| Abstrak ABSTRACT DESIGN OF GRAND CENTRAL CELEBES MOSQUE Abid Ma'bud Ismail (F221 13 024)1 Supervised by Dr. Ir. Fuad Zubaidi, S. T, M. Sc2 The Provincial Government of Central Sulawesi was asked to provide a means of main worship facilities for Muslims on a provincial scale, taking into account the need for function and comfort for users, as well as the appearance of the building as a local image. This study aims to obtain a design for the Central Sulawesi Grand Mosque that reflects the identity of the local culture, with the main function of being a forum for worship activities for the Muslim community as well as providing a forum for supporting facilities for the general public, with reference to the standards for the Management of the Mosque of the Ministry of Religion. The method used is the architectural design where research is based on observations, literature, documents, and scientific works, and other sources that are translated into macro, micro, and meso analysis. Results daThe purpose of this research is to obtain the design of the Central Sulawesi Grand Mosque with a postmodern architectural approach located in West Palu District, precisely on the site of the former Great Darussalam Mosque building in Palu City which was severely damaged after the earthquake.
