| Abstrak Fahrul Ramadhan (F 221 12 148) Library on Kabalutan Island (supervised by Dr. Gator Timbang, S.T, M.T) An adequate library is needed to support and support the educational activities of the community or tourists, in terms of increasing reading interest and the quality of education, especially in the area of Kabalutan. The study was conducted to determine the right design concept in disigning a library on Kabalutan Island so that it is able to present a building design that functions as one of the libraries. Data were analyzed using architectural design methods and collected using observation techniques, reference collection, literature and field data. The results of this study resulted in a library design of Kabalutan Island that must pay attetion to the natural potential of Kabalutan Island, the use appropriate structures for user safety environmental conditions for use as supporting elements, and it is hoped that this design can meet user needs, namely feeling security, confort and beauty. in reading and comprehansion. keyword: Library, Kabalutan Island |
