| Abstrak POTENSI LIKUEFAKSI DI DESA UMPANGA DUSUN 4 KECAMATAN BUNGKU BARAT KABUPATEN MOROWALI BERDASARKAN DATA HASIL SWEDISH WEIGHT SOUNDING Sity Aisya, Hendra Setiawan, Ida Sri Oktaviana ABSTRAK Pada 28 September 2018, gempa bumi dengan magnitudo 7,4 mengguncang Sulawesi Tengah. Gempa tersebut menyebabkan tsunami dan likuefaksi di daratan Kota Palu dan Kabupaten Sigi. Peristiwa ini menunjukkan pentingnya kajian geoteknik di wilayah lain yang memiliki kondisi tanah jenuh air, termasuk Desa Umpanga, Kecamatan Bungku Barat, Kabupaten Morowali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tanah dan mengevaluasi potensi likuefaksi di lokasi penelitian. Metode penelitian menggunakan pengujian lapangan Swedish Weight Sounding (SWS) pada sepuluh titik pengujian untuk memperoleh nilai Nsw, qa, dan qu. Setelah itu dilakukan pengujian laboratorium berupa Analisa Saringan, Batas-batas Atterberg, dan Berat Isi Tanah untuk menentukan klasifikasi tanah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Nsw berkisar antara 0,00 – 384,62 n/m, nilai qa berkisar antara 0,00 – 337,69 KN/m2 dan nilai qu berkisar antara 2,25 – 333,46 KN/m2. Berdasarkan USCS jenis tanah dari 10 titik sampel pengujian diperoleh jenis tanah SP-SC dan SW-SC. Analisis potensi likuefaksi dengan metode Tsucida menunjukkan gradasi tanah dari 10 titik pengujian berpotensi likuefaksi. Berdasarkan Modified Chinese Criteria, titik P1-P10 masuk dalam kriteria tanah yang berpotensi terjadi likuefaksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis faktor keamanan (FS) seluruh titik pengujian ( P1-P10 ) memperlihatkan nilai Fs < 1> 1 menunjukkan bahwa lapisan tanah bagian bawah relatif aman dari potensi likuefaksi. This event shows the importance of geotechnical studies in other areas that have water-saturated soil conditions, including Umpanga, West Bungku District, Morowali Regency. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the soil and evaluate the potential for liquefaction at the research site. The research method used Swedish Weight Sounding (SWS) field testing at ten test points to obtain Nsw, qa, and qu values. After that, laboratory tests were carried out in the form of Filter Analysis, Atterberg Boundaries, and Soil Content Weight to determine the soil classification. The test results showed that the Nsw value ranged from 0.00 – 384.62 n/m, the qa value ranged from 0.00 – 337.69 KN/m2 and the qu value ranged from 2.25 – 333.46 KN/m2. Based on USCS, soil types from 10 test sample points were obtained SP-SC and SW-SC. Analysis of liquefaction potential using the Tsucida method showed soil gradation from 10 test points with liquefaction potential. Based on the Modified Chinese Criteria, points P1-P10 are included in the soil criteria that have the potential for liquefaction. Based on the results of the safety factor (FS) analysis, all test points (P1-P10) showed that the value of Fs < 1> 1 value indicates that the lower soil layer is relatively safe from liquefaction potential.
