Abstrak
POTENSI LIKUEFAKSI DI DESA BAHOMOHONI KECAMATAN BUNGKU TENGAH KABUPATEN MOROWALI BERDASARKAN DATA HASIL SWEDISH WEIGHT SOUNDING Agus Kurniawan, Ida Sri Oktaviana, Hendra Setiawan ABSTRAK Likuefaksi tanah merupakan fenomena geoteknik ketika lapisan tanah jenuh air, terutama pasir dan lanau, kehilangan kekuatannya akibat beban siklik gempa bumi dan berperilaku seperti cairan sehingga dapat menimbulkan kerusakan serius pada bangunan maupun infrastruktur. Desa Bahomohoni (Kota Terpadu Mandiri), Kabupaten Morowali, Sulawesi Tengah, merupakan wilayah dengan aktivitas seismik tinggi serta kondisi geologi berupa endapan pasir, lanau, dan material aluvial sehingga sangat rentan terhadap likuefaksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristik tanah sekaligus mengevaluasi potensi likuefaksi di wilayah tersebut melalui uji lapangan menggunakan Swedish Weight Sounding (SWS) pada 10 titik pengujian yang dilanjutkan dengan uji laboratorium untuk memperoleh parameter tanah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata Nsw sebesar 91,45 n/m, daya dukung izin (qa) 75,29 kN/m², dan kuat tekan bebas (qu) 92,94 kN/m², dengan seluruh sampel termasuk jenis SC (Pasir lempung). Evaluasi potensi likuefaksi menggunakan kriteria Tsuchida (1970), Modified Chinese Criteria, dan Seed dkk. (2003) menunjukkan semua titik berpotensi mengalami likuefaksi dengan nilai faktor keamanan (FS) antara 0,21 hingga 1,81; nilai terendah terdapat pada titik P6 kedalaman 1,25 m (FS = 0,21) dan tertinggi pada titik P5 kedalaman 4,62 m (FS = 1,81). Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa Desa Bahomohoni memiliki tingkat kerentanan tinggi terhadap likuefaksi, terutama pada lapisan dangkal dengan nilai FS rendah, sehingga diperlukan langkah mitigasi berupa perencanaan fondasi yang tepat, perkuatan tanah, serta pemetaan risiko secara lebih detail untuk mengurangi dampak gempa di masa depan Likuefaksi, Karakteristik, Swedish weight sounding , Keamanan, Bahomohoni LIQUEFACTION POTENTIAL IN BAHOMOHONI VILLAGE BUNGKU TENGAH DISTRICT, MOROWALI REGENCY BASED ON SWEDISH WEIGHT SOUNDING DATA Agus Kurniawan, Ida Sri Oktaviana, Hendra Setiawan ABSTRACT Soil liquefaction is a geotechnical phenomenon that occurs when water-saturated soil layers, particularly those composed of sand and silt, lose their strength under cyclic earthquake loading and behave like a fluid, potentially causing severe damage to buildings and infrastructure. Bahomohoni Village (Kota Terpadu Mandiri) in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, is considered highly vulnerable to liquefaction due to its high seismic activity and geological setting dominated by sand, silt, and alluvial deposits. This study was conducted to characterize the soil and assess the liquefaction potential in the area through field testing using the Swedish Weight Sounding (SWS) method at ten locations, followed by laboratory analyses to determine soil parameters. The results indicate an average Nsw value of 91.45 n/m, an allowable bearing capacity (qa) of 75.29 kN/m², and an unconfined compressive strength (qu) of 92.94 kN/m², with all soil samples classified as SC (clayey sand). Liquefaction potential was evaluated using the criteria proposed by Tsuchida (1970), the Modified Chinese Criteria, and Seed et al. (2003), which revealed that all test sites are susceptible to liquefaction, with safety factor (FS) values ranging from 0.21 to 1.81. The lowest FS value was recorded at point P6 at a depth of 1.25 m (FS = 0.21), while the highest was found at point P5 at a depth of 4.62 m (FS = 1.81). These findings highlight the high liquefaction vulnerability of Bahomohoni Village, particularly in shallow soil layers with low FS values, and emphasize the need for mitigation measures such as appropriate foundation design, soil stabilization, and detailed risk mapping to reduce the potential impact of future earthquakes.
