Abstrak
ABSTRACT Rezki Agung Hakiki, Zelfitni, and Sukiman Nurdin, F 112 20 002, Study of Liquefaction Potential in Balaroa Using the Wenner Geoelectric Method. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 Mw occurred on September 28, 2018 at 18:02 in Palu, Central Sulawesi. The epicenter of the earthquake was 26 km north of Donggala and 80 km northwest of Palu city with a depth of 10 km. This earthquake triggered liquefaction in the village of Balaroa. The goal to be achieved through this research is to determine the potential for liquefaction in the area affected by the liquefaction of Balaroa using the geoelectric method. This type of research is to use a survey method. Resistivity data retrieval is carried out using the Wenner configuration method. The results showed that 1) the elevation of the measurement location was in the range of 18 meters to 59 meters, 2) The range of rock resistivity values ??at the liquefaction location in Balaroa village was 2 m to 10000 m, and 3) 4 types of rock were obtained at the research site consisting of (1) water-saturated Alluvium layer, (2) Conglomerate rock destruction, (3) Weathered Granite, and (4) Granite chunks, 4) All measurement lines are shatter zones seen in resistivity cross-sectional patterns that do not show stratigraphic laminated sedimentary patterns good, 5) On line 1 of Balaroa, traces of fault depression were found, which was interpreted as still part of the western Palu-Koro fault zone, and 6) On line 3 of Balaroa, an ancient river channel was found that was trending almost West-East.
