Abstrak ABSTRACT Darwin Lion, "Fluctuations Against Changes in the Palu River Morphology". Supervised by Andi Rusdin and Zeffitni Erosion in the upstream region causes siltation and changes in elevation along Erosion in the upstream area causes siltation and changes in altitude along the river flow. Siltation and height changes that occur in the downstream area result in reduced flow rate capacity exceeding actual capacity, so that it will affect river morphology. The purpose of this study was to determine the carrying capacity of the Palu river sediments in the Kalukubula section and to find out changes in the riverbed based on direct measurements in the field. The method used in this study is a simulation using HEC-RAS (River Analysis System) software. This simulation was carried out with the Palu topography as a geometric input, flow discharge as upstream input and basic slope as downstream and sediment input as input for granular gradation. The simulation results of the HEC-RAS program on carrying capacity of the Palu river sediments in the calucubula segment are as follows in SP.414 which decreased by 0.08 m, in SP.257 it decreased by 0.12 m and on SP.193. decreased by 0.003 m while direct measurements in the field resulted in changes in the height at the riverbed during the period 2015 to 2018 Palu SP river. 414 with a decrease in height of 0.38 m; SP Section. 257 with a decrease in height of 0.48 m and SP. 193 with an increase in height of 0.56 m Keywords: Change of River Base, HEC-RAS, Palu River |
