Abstrak Donggala Fish Landing Port (PPI) is one of the fish ports in Central Sulawesi, precisely in Labuan Bajo Village, Banawa District, Donggala Regency which is located along the coast. When the earthquake and tsunami that hit Palu, Donggala and surrounding areas in 2018 caused some damage to the dock facilities at the Donggala Fish Landing Base, repairs were needed. This study aims to obtain the waves height that occur in PPI Donggala and can predict waves that occur with a return period of the next few years and find out the results of the comparison of processing and wave data using Gumbel and the Weibull Methods. Data analysis of these two methods uses secondary data, namely hourly wind data at PPI Donggala. The results of the analysis, the significant wave height (Hs) = 0,98 m and the significant wave period (Ts) = 4,74 seconds in 2017 in the north. For the analysis of the frequency distribution using Gumbel method in the 2 year return period = 0,802 m, in the 5 year return period = 0,894 m, in the 10 year return period = 0,954 m, in the 25 year period = 1,031 m, in the 50 year period = 1,088 m, in the period of 100 years = 1,145 m. While the frequency analysis using the Weibull method in the 2 year return period = 0,778 m, in the 5 year return period = 0,872 m, in the 10 year return period = 0,943 m, in the 25 year return period = 1,037 m, in the 50 year period = 1,108 m, in the period of 100 years = 1,179 m. The results of the comparison of the RMSE value between Gumbel and Weibull methods obtained the same value of 1,110 m, so that both methods used are equally accurate. |
