Abstrak
The Bongka River is one of the rivers in Ulu Bongka District, Tojo Una-una Regency, Central Sulawesi, has a length of 122 Km with a watershed area of 3085 Km2. Planning for flood control in a watershed can be carried out properly if the design flood discharge is known. The method used is the Haspers method and HSS Nakayasu. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the planned flood discharge during the return period and the difference between the two methods. Based on the calculations of using the Haspers method, the flood discharg at the 25-year return period is 500.035 m3/s, the 50-year return period is 533.546 m3/s, and the 100-year return period is 584.928 m3/s. While the Nakayasu HSS method obtained the value of the planned discharge at the 25-year return period is 1498.661 m3/s, the 50-year return period, which was 1599.096 m3/s, and the 100-year return period, which was 1753.095 m3/s. The difference between the Haspers and HSS Nakayasu methods is 66.635%. Keywords: Bongka River, Flood Discharge, Rainfall, Haspers, HSS Nakayasu
