Abstrak The Effect of Heavy Loads on the Total Thickness and Depth of the Rutting in Flexible Pavement Construction Miftahuljannah, Syamsul Arifin ABSTRACT Plastic deformation damage, known as permanent deformation (rutting) of the Asphalt Concrete (AC) layer, is the dominant problem. Rutting is characterized by vehicle ruts, especially in junction areas, where large braking forces are frequent. The leading cause of this is fine fractions, such as excessive sand and filler in the asphalt mixture. This research aims to determine the composition of vehicle weight based on LHR data on Jabal Nur Street and the relationship between vehicle weight and the depth of routing on the asphalt layer's surface. A combination of the HDM III method provided by the World Bank, the 1986 AASHTO method, and the IRC method: 37-2001 is used for this purpose. The calculation results obtained H.tot thickness with a subgrade CBR value of 7.63, namely 464.242 mm thickness H tot with varying values , namely 569.956 to 628.150 at the service age of 20 years (n) and a traffic growth rate (g) of 4.75%.
