Abstrak
POTENSI LIKUIFAKSI DI KELURAHAN DONGGALA KODI BERDASARKAN PENGUJIAN DAYA DUKUNG TANAH DENGAN ALAT SWEDISH WEIGHT SOUNDING Muhamad Adi Fareza, Hendra Setiawan ABSTRAK Gempa dahsyat yang terjadi di Palu dan sekitarnya sebesar Magnitudo (M) 7,4 mengingatkan kita akan kerawanan terhadap bencana alam, terutama gempa bumi. Sementara itu, tanah pasiran yang tidak padat dan jenuh air saat digetarkan gempa dapat mengalami likuifaksi. Pada kejadian di Palu, kita saksikan likuifaksi berskala besar, antara lain karena Kota Palu terletak di zona patahan yang sangat aktif. Hal ini yang mendasari penulis untuk melakukan penelitian tentang potensi likuifaksi dengan menggunakan alat Swedish Weight Sounding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui klasifikasi tanah berdasarkan uji laboratorium, mengetahui properties tanah berdasarkan uji Swedish Weight Sounding, serta untuk mengidentifikasi potensi terjadinya likuifaksi di Kelurahan Donggala Kodi. Penelitian terdiri dari 2 metode pengujian, yaitu pengujian di lapangan menggunakan alat uji Swedish Weight Sounding pada 5 titik, dan pengujian di laboratorium meliputi pengujian analisa saringan dan batas-batas Atterberg terhadap 5 sampel tanah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil pengujian laboratorium diperoleh klasifikasi pasir bergradasi buruk (SP) dan pasir bergradasi buruk bercampur lanau (SP-SM). Sedangkan hasil pengujian lapangan diperoleh nilai Nsw berada di rentang 18,00 - 357,14 n/m, nilai qa berada di rentang 44,40 - 315,71 kN/m2 dan nilai qu berada di rentang nilai 2,25 - 312,86 kN/m2. LIQUIFACTION POTENTIAL IN DONGGALA KODI VILLAGE BASED ON THE TESTING OF SOIL RESISTANCE WITH SWEDISH WEIGHT SOUNDING EQUIPMENT Muhamad Adi Fareza, Hendra Setiawan ABSTRACT The powerful earthquake that occurred in Palu and its surroundings with a magnitude of 7.4 RS reminded us of our vulnerability to natural disasters, especially earthquakes. Sandy soil with less density and saturated with water is prone to liquefaction when got vibrated by earthquake. In Palu, we witnessed large-scale liquefaction, partly because Palu City is located in a very active fault zone. This is what underlies the author to conduct research on the potential for liquefaction using the Swedish Weight Sounding equipment. This study aimed to determine soil classification based on laboratory tests, determine soil properties based on the Swedish Weight Sounding test, and to identify the potential for liquefaction in Donggala Kodi Village. The study consisted of 2 testing methods. First was field testing using the Swedish Weight Sounding test equipment which was conducted at 5 sampling spots. Second, laboratory testing including sieve and Atterberg limits analysis on 5 soil samples. The results of laboratory tests obtained classification of poorly graded sand (SP) and poorly graded sand mixed with silt (SP-SM). While the results of field testing, the Nsw value was in the range 18.00 - 357.14 n/m, the value of qa was in the range of 44.40 - 315.71 kN/m2 and the value of qu is in the range of 2.25 - 312.86. kN/m2.
