| Abstrak This study aims to analyze the relationship between the socio-economic characteristics of farmers and their perception of the utilization of Rice Farming Insurance (AUTP) in Palolo District, Sigi Regency. AUTP is a government program designed to protect farmers from crop failure risks due to natural disasters and plant pest attacks. The research employed a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. A total of 60 respondents were selected using purposive sampling from five villages in Palolo District. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Spearman's Rank Correlation and Likert scale analysis. The results show that the variables of age and number of dependents have a negative and significant effect on the utilization of AUTP, indicating that older farmers and those with more dependents are less likely to utilize the program.
