Abstrak
Peanut is one of the food commodities which has high economic value of protein and vegetable oil, but its popularity is not as high as soybeans. Peanut is one of the food commodities which has high economic value of protein and vegetable oil, but its popularity is not as high as soybeans. Nationally, peanut has not been considered as a superior commodity. Peanuts can be processed into various foodstuffs, beverages. One of the SMEs currently developing in the city of Palu is UKM "Prima Rasa". This UKM produces a sweet product taste. This study aims to determine a good alternative strategy to be applied to the shake business in "Prima Rasa" UKM.This research was conducted at "Prima Rasa" UKM Labu Street Balaroa Village, Palu Barat Subdistrict, Palu City, Central Sulawesi in November 2019 Determination of respondents in this study was done intentionally (Purposive), the number of respondents in this study were 7 people chosen from internal and external parties. Internal party respondents consisted of 1 leader, 2 employees, while external party respondents consisted of 3 consumers and 1 competitor. The analysis used is a SWOT analysis.The results of the analysis show that the right strategy to be applied in the development of the shake business in "Prima Rasa" smes is in quadrant I, which is the Strength-Opportunity (SO) strategy position
