| Abstrak The coconut sugar agro-industry is expected to significantly contribute to farming families. However, changes in weather and the presence of middlemen can impact the welfare and income of farming families. This study aims to assess the contribution of the coconut sugar agroindustry to household income in Karya Agung Village. Respondents were selected using a census method, with a sample size of 23 individuals. The analysis method used is analysis of coconut sugar business income, analysis of total household income, and contribution. The results of the study show that the average income of the coconut sugar business in Karya Agung Village in August (dry season) is Rp. 2,715,343/month and in November (rainy season) is Rp. 3,342,519/month. The contribution of the coconut sugar business to the level of household income in Karya Agung Village is, in the dry season it is classified as moderate, namely 67.40% and in the rainy season it is classified as high. namely 71.79%. However, when viewed from the level of community welfare, the welfare of coconut sugar producers is still considered low or moderate, this is because coconut sugar producers are still required to sell their products to collectors at a selling price set at Rp. 10,000/kg. |
