| Abstrak This study aims to determine and describe the dynamics of lowland rice groups in Sumari Village. Determination of respondents using simple random sampling method with a total sample of 30 rice farmers. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and filling out questionnaires. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative. Research results The results showed that group dynamics in farmer groups in Sumari Village obtained less dynamic results. The element of Dynamics in Sumari Village is that the first group goals are that the members know the goals of the group, but don't give much advice or input to the group. The group structure is still lacking in the division of tasks and satisfaction with the division of tasks. Functions Tasks lack of achievement of the results of meetings and coordination within the group. Group coaching and development is sufficient to participate in training or activities and groups, lack of facilities and adherence to group rules. This is caused by farmers still thinking about their farming individually, farmers who cannot be invited to gather, meeting schedules between farmers and extension agents are uncertain and there is only one extension agent in Sumari Village.
