| Abstrak The development of cocoa plants greatly affects the Indonesian population, the majority of whom are farmers, especially for the people in Central Sulawesi as one of the second largest cocoa producers in Indonesia. This cocoa plant has a selling value and great potential to be developed, from the results of this cocoa plant beans can produce various preparations that are liked by world consumers so that it becomes one of the contributors to state income. This study aims to determine the development of cocoa farming business and the factors that influence the development of cocoa production in Taliabo Village, Sausu Keacamatan. This study was carried out for three months, namely in June-August with a total of 39 respondents in simple random sampling using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of research on the development of cocoa farming business by looking at aspects of land area, production, productivity, cocoa prices have decreased in the last five years due to various problems in the field such as the transition of land functions to non-cocoa crops, pest and disease attacks. Factors that affect cocoa production are the number of plants, the age of the plant, fertilizers, positively affecting cocoa production in Taliabo Village, Sausu District, Parigi Moutong Regency. |
