| Abstrak The agricultural sector of Banggai Islands Regency is sector that contributes the second largest regional income after the processing industry. Regional income can be known from the purpose of this study to find out (1) the contribution of the agricultural sector to the total economy in the Banggai Regency area, (2) what agricultural sub-sectors are the basis of the Banggai Islands Regency. The data collected is secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics for Banggai K Regency and the Central Bureau of Statistics for Central Sulawesi Province. The analytical method used is the analysis of the contribution of the agricultural sector and the analysis of LQ (Location Quetient). The results of the analysis show that of the seven agricultural sub-sectors in Banggai Islands Regency, the highest contribution is the fisheries sector with the highest contribution value in 2018 of 17.30%, and this research shows that the average percentage of the agricultural sector to economic growth in the District Banggai Islands from 2016-2020 fluctuated (tend to fluctuate). The existence of Covid-19 with its various policies exacerbated the decline in the percentage of several agricultural sub-sectors in 2019-2020, so that it was accompanied by inflation. The six agricultural sub-sectors of Banggai Islands Regency in 2016-2020 showed an average LQ value of more than one (LQ > 1), except for the plantation crop sector which only gave an LQ value with an average of 0.69%, meaning that it showed an LQ value of less than one (LQ < 1) annually. |
